The Inclusion of Bible Teachings in Churches

Christians know the messages in the Bible through methods adapted by respective churches. Many, if not all, churches would teach the verses in the Bible with the goal of teaching the contexts accurately as possible and be able to recognize and respect the words of God while sending out the messages to Christians. The goal of these churches is to be able to teach the words of God in an in-depth manner, but simple and accessible enough to be understood by the Christians listening to the message. Bible study is important to Christians, and yet many people would still wonder if the teachings during mass or gatherings are not enough by considering further Bible study. In this article, Christians are given some reasons on the importance of Bible study in their lives. Mankind knows the words of God through the Bible, and by studying it, we will get to know more about our God, His thoughts, His ways and why He does and say those actions and messages. And to enjoy all the blessings of God and escape destruction, the Bible teaches us how God operates. Here's a good read about church, check it out calvarybaptistburbank.org.

The first reason pointed out why we study the Bible is have some revelation of our position in Christ. Our Lord Jesus Christ in the center in the Bible, as shown from Genesis to Revelation, where it is pointed out that the salvation of mankind is by Jesus. Through Bible study, we are taught how to gain access to victory only in Christ and be able to exercise triumph through Him, thus we are to realize who we are in the Lord and what power we have in Jesus Christ. Our inheritance in Christ and what belongs to us are revealed in the Bible as we study it. Paul said in Acts 20:32 that through the words of God we will be able to inherit healing, prosperity, long life, peace and ultimately eternal life, and these words are sanctified. This lack of knowledge is said to be the means that devil will cheat or destroy us, and so we have to have knowledge in order to enjoy what we as Christians have inherited from God.

The revelation of our authority over the devil is revealed in the Bible, thus the devil does not have dominion over Christians.

Reading the Bible would give us spiritual growth, in the same manner as eating food gives nourishment to our body, so does the Bible is to our spirit. There is spiritual growth in young Christians who will study the Bible, and hopefully they will become matured Christians who are believers in the word of God in their hearts who are kept away from sins and leading a victorious life under Christ.
